Tax Court Issues Another Spate of Fiscal Arbitrator Decisions

Précis:   Over the past week the Tax Court of Canada released 6 new decisions, 5 of which are or seem to be Fiscal Arbitrator decisions (two decisions of Rowe, D.J., Morrison and Sam are very difficult to fathom).  The other case, Anderson, seems to involve similar planning by a group called StockLogics.

McCarthy v. The Queen - 2016 TCC 86 - 2016-04-11

Di Mauro v. The Queen - 2016 TCC 87 - 2016-04-12

Sledge v. The Queen - 2016 TCC 100 - 2016-04-18

Anderson v. The Queen - 2016 TCC 93 - 2016-04-14

Morrison v. The Queen - 2016 TCC 99 - 2015-11-27

Sam v. The Queen - 2016 TCC 98 - 2015-11-24

I believe that it is not in the public interest to keep summarizing these decisions all of which share the common theme of taxpayers drawn into hopeless schemes.  In future I will simply cite the Fiscal Arbitrator (and similar) cases without additional comment.
